About Premier LeaguesPremier Leagues are leagues that have been created and organized at the hand of a commissioner (and in some cases assistant commissioners). These people take on the responsibility to promote their league; establish rules and regulations often outside the scope of the core CSFBL game; and maintain an active community and vibrant team ownership. Premier League BenefitsAt this time, there are two distinct benefits given to Premier Leagues:
There will be much more coming in the future. The CSFBL design team is working on a list of premier league-only features that will make being in such a league an experience unto itself, bringing some long-awaited CSFBL things such as righty/lefty splits, minor league stats, commissioner-approved trades, and more. Many of the features we couldn't do in the past (due to limited server resources) are now possible. Further, adding these features for a limited set of leagues makes them much more feasible. Note also that it is distinctly possible, and probable, that premier leagues will become the domain of donating members only, which essentially means that to own a team in a premier league, you'll have to be a donating member in good standing. It would likely be something that costs $1 or so per season - a tiny amount, around $10 per year - to offset the additional resource requirements and development demands of the premier leagues. We're still working out details, and no such change would come into effect until we give premier leagues something really valuable over what already exists in the game.
